Is the Remington r1 1911 Any decent?

I just picked up a Remington r1 1911 .45acp in a trade and was wondering if anybody has any experience with one. Its basic 1911 government config no adjustable trigger but a very pretty gun with good workmanship. I got it just to shoot alot of the 45 ammo i have laying around. Would like to hear any opinions on it.

A friends son bought one a while back, and I was pretty impressed for no more then he paid for it.

It Feeds, Fires, & Functions Freely with every kind of reload we shot in it.
And is more accurate then I expected.
