OK it’s short range and big target (swelled head) but he does make it without a stock on a rifle with not the best sights. Does it look like there are two misses on the target (one at the left edge of the forehead, and one clean miss to the left?)

(from this news site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/pop_ups/06/in_pictures_saddam_hussein0s_iraq/html/1.stm

Original caption “In 2003, after 10 years of sanctions and stop-start weapons inspections by the UN, the US decided to remove Saddam Hussein's regime from power. On the first night of military action, he narrowly escaped a targeted air strike designed to kill him.”)

Is it just me or are there others who are sick and tired of seeing and hearing about Saddam Hussein? He's dead, let him rest!!! (and give us a break too)

Well, he is point shooting. IMO, if he can do it regularly (hitting precisely what he point shoots at, e.g. SH's forehead), he'd be a good shot. Hard to tell from one photo though.

no its just you

Sorry USMCDOC14... it's me too.

Looks like the dust is edited on. The BBC get a lot of their photos from Reuters and Reuters have been caught doctoring images from the middle east many times.

CFriesen, sorry but I kinda like seeing murderous genocidal dictators being set as an example for others out there like him.
