So my wife buys a small safe for the bedside a few days ago and I tell her she should really go to the range and learn to shoot my Glock 19 and 642. She says yes and goes to the range today. Let me tell ya, she shot incredibly well for a 2nd timer!! So she turns to me and says I am feeling impulsive....lets go get a gun for me?!?!?!? So who am I to argue with common sense...off we go to the toy store.

She looked at a Sig P229, Karh P45(no P9's in stock), and Glock 17. She liked the trigger on the Kahr but not the grip shape, too narrow. She liked the grip on the Sig but not the trigger. But the Glock 17 fit the bill. We went home with that, a pair of 10 rounders(I will be picking up some LEO's shortly) and a few boxes of ammo. About 515.00 OTD. Not bad. I think I can give her the bug enough to increase my stash 5 fold!! Oh Yeah!

I'm jeolous

I told my wife that I wouldn't tell her the combo. to my gun vault by the nightstand untill she went to the range and learned how to handle what's inside it.

She's had two "incidents" in the past six months (rode rage guy follows her 4 miles while she's taking kids to school, and Mr. Nutcake accosts us while loading sleepy kids into our poorly parked Suburban after a late play in the park for "pro-creating" so much that we have to drive a "whale" and in so doing caused the Iraq war) but she still isn't interested in going to the range.

Thats awesome. Youve got a good women. I tried to get my girlfriend to go to shoot skeet and trap but she wouldnt do it:(

Little sis with a G17

My sister called me up one day and said she needed a better pistol than the one she has been using. she didnt like revolvers, because trigger pull was heavy. being out doors all the time I suggested 357. she said it kick to much.
she also insisted on lots of rounds, {she hunts yotes from horse back}. The only thing I had to offer was my little brothers G17. I drove all the way to wy to get it to her! After the first fifteen rounds I coudnt pry it out of her hands.

Could it be an epidemic?

I can honestly say that I taught my wife to shoot... about 3 years ago, I don't know if it's great or sad... that she can out shoot me now in competition NRA matches and in the annual KD course.

The best part of haveing a woman who shoots... You can buy her guns :D

Build an AR-15 NM for her last B-day/Aniversary and build myself a M4 - This year I'm building a Springfield NM .45acp and working on a Champion.

So I buy guns in Pairs, Her's and His, it works out great.

I would have to say so guys....now I have to try and talk her into joining IPSC or IDPA with me so we can have more us time....hahahahahahhahaha and by us I mean me and my reloading setup/guns!
