I've got the itch for a Colt 1911!

I already have a Springer Loaded 45. I've decided I need a Colt 1911. The two models I like are the O1980XSE and the Gold Cup Trophy O5070X. The XSE is basically the same gun as my Loaded (same features like beavertail etc) with a blued finish and Colt on the side. I like the looks of the GC. The only thing I'm not sure I like are the Bomar style adjustable sights on the GC. Are they black on black? Will I be able to see them fine on a different colored target? Also, what is a good price on the GC and how are they accuracy-wise? Thanks for any advice. Here are the 2 guns:

I like the look of your pistol, classic 1911! But I also like that stainless colt gold cup.
Edited to add: um, I like the blued government, too. I'm no help. Buy them both.

I have both Colts you mentioned. The CGCT indeed has black on black sights like my SA RO. I favor adjustable sights on my 1911's.
Both my Colts are accurate. Good ammo and good triggers will yield sub 2'' groups from a bench @ 25yds.
Handle one before you buy. The beavertail doesn't sweep up as high as your SA Loaded. My GCT had a nice trigger from the factory, the XSE was horrible! A friend bought the XSE, his trigger was superb! Go figure.
Needless to say, I figure on doing trigger work anyway, so I wasn't really upset.

Price? Shop around, that's all I can tell you.
I like the Colts, but they have nothing on my Springfields. {other than the pony}

I like the GC Trophy better than the XSE. I will handle before i buy the gun. thanks for the advice.
