J. Stevens Model 235

I have a J Stevens Arms and Toll Co, Chicopee Falls, Mass, USA, 12 gauge side by side. SN 83905 on receiver under barrels. No finish on the metal but stock seems intact. Action is very tight and forearm and stock tight to the receiver and barrel. I will be taking it to my gunsmith for eval but can't until this weekend. Can anyone provide likely era of manufacture or details of interest?

I believe that address line was used from 1886 until 1916. That would make it a Model 225-Hammer Boxlock. Have the gunsmith check the chamber length also. Others may have more or more valid information.
