I finally got a chance to function test the three ACT-MAGs in nickel that I ordered for my P220.

I ran 100 rounds alternating magazines every reload. All three magazines performed flawlessly. They locked the slide back as they should, seated and released properly and showed no wear on the follower or magazine body.

After cleaning the magazines the springs felt tight and new and the magazine bodies and followers showed no wear what-so-ever. You could easily re-package these and sell them as new. There were no marks inside or out to indicate that the magazines had been used.

All in all I must say I am very happy with these magazines and when you consider they cost less then half that of a SIG factory 8 round stainless magazine they are raving bargain.

To this point I have only heard of one person having something negative to say about these magazines with the exception that people seem to feel that the blue wears fast on the blue magazines.

Anyway all in all if you have a P220 I think these magazines are $19.95 well spent and they definitely seem to be up to factory/Mec-Gar quality.

Another thumbs up for ACT mags. A few of us SIGforum members got them when they first appeared on the market, and they have always been flawless.

I got a nickel mag recently, and it too has run like a champ.

Why pay for one 220 stainless 8round factory, when you can get two of these bad boys for the same price?

The noticable differences include a straighter feed lip profile, and they are a tad bit easier to load than factory.

Yep. I've got one of the 8-round blue mags and I think it's actually a little better than the factory Sig 7 rounder that came with my P220.
