I am expecting on getting my Huntsman any day now, but I am having trouble figuring out what stuff I am going to need.

I am going to shoot triple 7 FFg. Around 80 to 90 grains.
I am going to get another ramrod so I don't break the one on my huntsman.
I can't figure out what bullets to use. I am either going with the powerbelt of some type or the Hornady XTP. They have both at my local dunhams.
I don't know what primers. Or lubes.
Should I buy speedloaders?

Can someone help me out here?

What stuff do I need and what can I go without.

I saw a kit by CVA today. Should I get that?

I want to get what I can as soon as possible so I can get used to loading and shooting it for the youth hunt if I could. I am going to put a scope on it but not this year. I don't have to much money right now.

Please help me out.

Is your Huntsman is the inline muzzle loader or Hawken type? You need the black powder lube like Bore butter or the one that Tradition inc. have aviable don't use petroliume product lublicant in the bore because it when it mixed with black powder it turn into tar-like mixture that tough to clean. You need the short starter to push the bullet in to the bore that way you will not break the ramrod try to poke the bullet into the bore . jag ,brush , and cleaning patch of proper caliber, bucket of water and dish washing soap ,may be seperate cleaning rod because most of the rod that come with rifle are too short for me to clean the bore. What is the twist rate of your huntsman? if it is 1:48 like most Hawken come with you can use the both patched round ball ,or conical bullet but if it is 1:66, 1:72 it might not shoot well with conical bullet , fast twist rate like 1:24 is for the conical and sabot bullet . Get yourself a copy of Cabela catalog they carry most black powder stuff.

5ptdeerhunter Your Huntsman will do just fine with sabot or conical bullet .I do not have any experience with them because I shoot patched round ball with my Hawken(it has 1:48 twisted)
