Okay, we hear it and read it all the time: "Be careful, once you buy one, you won't be able to stop!" I have seen threads of "fraternal twins" and threads asking how many of the same gun make you have.

But for you, what is the most ADDICTING type of gun you can't buy enough of? The gun you bought one of, then almost immediately went back and bought a few more! Please vote on my very un-scientific poll. Post pictures of your multiples if you got them!

Personally, I won't vote because I only have one of every type of gun I have (working on expanding the variety before I start getting multiples of the same or similar things). But I am VERY tempted to get a few more mosin-nagants or maybe another .22 pistol because they are just so fun and cost-effective to shoot. However I can see how people can get addicted to AR's and 1911's...in both cases, the variations and options are endless!

So many guns...so little money :what:

I love my .32's, but they are VERY expensive to feed, I enjoy my .22's in part cause they aren't that expensive

Fun is popping pie tins at 100 feet (~30 meters)
with whatever pistol is in my hand.

i think you poll is lacking in areas.

u enjoy shooting big bore handguns. but i enjoy shooting 22lr, 357mag and 38sp and of course big bore pistols i also enjoy most of my guns.

my fave 22 rifle was a ATI GSG5......oh how i miss it.....

I dont have multiples of any guns. except 4 22lr rifles and 2 22lr pistols

Heheh, yeah like I said I wasn't too scientific with my options...just whatever came to mind first. But there is an option for .22 rifles and .22 pistols. I love my 10/22 but every now and then I get an urge to go pick up a Marlin 60 or maybe another 10/22!

I have always enjoyed plinking with a .22 more than anything else. Possibly because I can afford to shoot all day with the lowly .22.

I want to get a lever action in 44mag since i love lever actions and the 44 platform.......although if i save enugh scratch i can get a 500SW in lever action.......hurmmmm

god i love big guns.......

I like the topic holden! I had to pick "OTHER!?!?!?" though because I'm still in the 'at least one of everything' camp rather than 'several of one' :D

Mosins... I have a couple.

They're (mostly) cheap, fun, and there's a TON of unique history to each and every one! You never know what you're gonna get next. The perfect collectible! It's exciting. :D
.32 Ruby
got it as basically a paper weight in a trade
but I'd put it up against pretty much every 1911 I've ever held
Oh and those ammo cost, yeah tell me about it, .32 isn't much cheaper than .44

I just got a CMMG .22 upper on my M-4, and it's about the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Now my in-laws, none of whom had ever shot a gun before, are all taking me to task on the "I will never tell you to stop shooting .22 because it's too expensive" promise.

Yeah, I love my more powerful calibers, but you just can't beat being able to actually afford to shoot .22's.

I have just finished modifying a S&W M&P 15-22 with a slide fire stock! Now that is fun! Between the stock and the CMC trigger, the mod cost more than the gun, but it sure is cool. I want to eventually buy a slide fire or bumpski for my AK-47, but I decided to start with a .22 so I could have fun and actually shoot it.

I now have three .22 firearms, and I plan to continue to build that part of my collection.

I voted Glocks...
They just work for me, so I've got a few, and always open to owning another.

Also, .22 rifles and AK's get honorable mention.

I did not bother to vote as you forgot the most important button of all--------ALL OF THE ABOVE.:D I personally have a big problem choosing what is the most fun and will ALWAYS get another of any type when I get the chance. Now if you were to ask this about reloading---------:D

I'm a tinkerer so anything that lends it's self to that I have an addiction to. So the 1911 and AR are my current favs. I finally got over my AK habit. I have been thinking about a 10/22 but I need to satisfy my 1911 curiosity before i jump into something new. Then again I have had a lot of free time lately so I may be able to squeeze in a new toy. Aww gees here I go again.

Mosin Nagant's:

It's funny I thought years ago just one would be fine it had a round reciever and shot great... Then I had to get an older Hex reciever.... then you got the Carbine's.... then you got the PU Snipers... etc... etc...:D

I had to go ARs but would have put 1911s as a tie. I figure the "addictiveness" stems from the ease with which one can manipulate the firearm down to the individual part level, build, re build and modify with near Lego-ease and the main rounds for both are fairly easy to reload to a personal standard and relatively inexpensive. Also, the potential for alternative calibers in either is nearly unmatched in any other respective autos.

Oh, and thanks for a thread that isn't a "if you could only have **any new and un supported ridiculous number here**, what would it/they be?"
Or, which is better, a Ruger apple, Glock orange or Colt asparagus?

I have a thing for sporterizing Mosin-Nagants. They are, in my opinion, the hansomest milsurp sporters, and I find the design very elegant if done right. Being a toolmaker, I have or have access to all the equipment I need for the machine work, so I can make them without great expense.

Toss up between M1911s and pocket pistolas. I'd have to say/vote the latter due to the number of said.
