Just picked up my Glock Model 19 today and will be taking it to the range tomorrow. For target practice I bought American Eagle 9mm, 115 grain FMJ. For self defense I bought Gold Dot (LE) 9mm Luger +P, 124 gr. GDHP.
Did I make an OK choice with the ammo?

My Glocks will digest anything I feed them. For SD ammo I carry Win 115 +P+ HPs, and Cor-Bon +P Pow'r Ball. But, as I said, my Glocks eat anything. I carry mostly my G19C...it's what I'm wearing as I type.

Smart purchase! Congratulations, and may you never have to use it.

Good on ya! Hope the gun fits you, cuz like TOADMAN says, its a great all-around pistol.

Good choice on the ammo as well. Gold Dots have a great reputation, and my Glocks all like American Eagle way better than the WWB stuff.

What kind of sights are on it? Please don't tell me they're the original plastics....

G19 is a great pistol! Ammo? you have done good in your choices too!

Glocks is known to feed any ammo designed for it...just don't try shooting a 9mm in a .40 pistol! Ask me how I know...
