I've been looking at Kahrs for concealed carry. I like the size of the CW and P series weapons. As most of you know, the P series is more than the CW. I would like to put night sights on my carry weapon though. I was talking to a gunsmith yesterday and he said he could dovetail the slide of the CW9 for $35 so I could put night sights on it. Does anyone see any complications with this? I've never had a gun modified like this before. Pros/Cons?

Oh, and this looks like a good forum, I think I'll stick around. I'm obviously new here.

Thanks.

I cant see any real problem having a smith dovetail the slide on a cw to take sights other than by the time you buy night sights , and pay the gunsmith bill to install them your likely up around what you would have paid for a p series to start with .

If I wanted to easily add night sights to a Kahr, I would start out with a K or P series that already have the dovetails - or just get one with night sights to start with. CW and E series have two little holes in the slide through which the plastic sight is staked.

Well...getting them with the gun is a better way. They come with Mep. trudots and they are great sights. The E and CW are the budget Kahrs but work very well for what you pay for them.
Shoot well and god bless
