I couldnt get the magazine to go fully into my Kel Tec P-32, when I removed the slide, the magazine release spring fell out. I got it snaped back in after a few minutes with a small screwdriver. My question is, has anyone else had this problem, could it have left the factory only partially in place(gun only has 100 or so rounds thru it), or can I expect it to fall apart every few boxes of ammo?

Who exactly is over QC at KT? How do some of these guns make it out of the door?:scrutiny: Super glue may help.

Just the Customer Service?

So, this person is told that this is unusual. Another person states they've had no problems at all with their P-3AT, but that they've heard the customer service is excellent.

How are you making the leap from that to your above statement? Though I shouldn't be surprised, as despite your name 10 of your 12 postings on this board are bashing Kel-Tec.

My P-3AT is running just great. Sure, it's not the quality of my Colts and other pistols, but then again they cost 2, 3, 4, or even 5 times as much.

How many times have you sent yours back?
I had a P32 failed, failed and failed again.
Maybe they should lower the prices down to about $100. So that people can keep them up and running. Like one other poster said in an earlier post.
They put the KT up against a $109 Pro Tec. The ProTec out proformed the KT in Reliability.:what: :neener: :what:

KT-P32,
a few small questions. Do you own other guns? Was the P-32 your first gun? I mean, why would anyone pick their user name as a gun they don't like?? (unless it is just a username soly used for bashing that one....)

just an observation....

Yes I own several guns cheap guns, expensive guns. I chose this name when I thought that I had a Jewel. NOT!! Everyone I see or hear has or will have problems with their KT. So whats the deal with their QC? Simple question. If they could make their guns reliable and everything I wouldnt mind having another. But Im not wasting money again, on a gun that has to be sent back every 100 or 200 rds. If that much. When a $109 Intra Tec ProTec outproforms a $250+ gun then something is seriously wrong.
Or those guys arent doing their jobs down there in FL.

Hi Flyer, Im not trying to start anything. I just want to know "WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH KT"? Why do people have so much trouble with them?
Simple question. I would like to have another KT. But for me to buy another they are going to have to make them work and stay together or lower the darn prices to around A Buck Fifty. ($150) Not $250

Where's the rest of your boys? I have a feeling that Ill hear from them soon.:D For real Real Live or recorded video Coming soon the KT P32 Vs A Protec 22. Later Dude!

Man! That NAA sure shoots good too. $149.:D

PS Why is always "Flyer" this and "Flyer" That? Oh bye the way.Nice cheap "RICE ROCKET" you have there. Couldnt afford a USA made Harley Huh? I understand.

quick68,

The problem you had is not common at all as far as I have heard. I've had two P-32s for a couple of years now and haven't had any problems at all with mine.

I would contact Kel-Tec at 1-800-515-9983 (8a-4p eastern), and talk to Marty about it.

Good luck...

Luck of the draw.

I've had two KelTecs which are both reliable, in fact my P11 is now a BUG gift to a LEO friend of mine. I wouldn't give it if I didn't trust it. My P32 often travels with me in front pocket.

I've had my NIB Kimber (costing over $1000 -not including tax, FFL and 3 trips back to smiths) fail over and over again on me.

Just luck of the draw. Oftentimes, you can't fully judge a product until you experience their Customer Service. KelTec's is top notch.

Well, let's see, KT-P32. Kel Tec has made about 135,000 P-32s. You've heard about how many? 6...10.... 50? And you base your opinion on that sample size????? Yep, I had always guessed you had a PhD in Statistics. Where did you get your doctorate?

Yes, maybe 50+ bad reports or more, here and on KTOG, packing.org. And thats just here on the net. How many are out there that are lemons that we dont here about? hmmm? Everytime that I see a post its something like this. " My new KT broke I have to send it back for repairs". " Call Marty he'll get you going". "Great CS" IMHO the QC guy should be fired. What are any of you going to do in and maybe when you need your KT for protection? So noone can answer my SIMPLE QUESTION? "Whats the deal with KTs QC"? Its everytime that I look here or anywhere else I see nothing but problems.
I dont believe that they test anything. Maybe when they first started up and now its like yeah it"ll work if not they will send it back. AM I LYING? Im out of here. Bye, Suckers!! KT Vs Protec22 video in the works. Any wagers on how many times the Kt will jam, FTEs or light strikes? Brand new P32 $259 vs an old worn out Protec 22. ($109). Im going to show you proof>
:neener:

How many tens of thousands out there that are working fine that you DON'T hear about. Can someone tell me why I keep feeding this troll? KT your video comparing ONE sample of a product with anything else is ludicrous and doesn't prove anything. Stop making a fool out of yourself, please. It distresses me to see what is normally cosidered a higher form of life do that to themselves.
