Kel-Tec PF9?

Don't get me wrong I like the looks of the new Pf-9 but personally I would not trade the rounds for a slightly "smaller" pistol. Fact is, the P-11 is plenty small and EASY TO CONCEAL...but packs 10+1 which to me is worth the tiny increase in size.

P.S. I've owned and carried my P-11 for five years now...An excellent CCW pistol.

MachIVshooter - Nobody can accuse me of not using the search feature!!! I think it's pretty cool to bring back a year + thread.

TC-TX, do you actually work at Texas Armament? I took my wife to look for a concealable handgun this weekend at the Bullet Trap & Bass Pro. She found a chrome & blue Kel-tec she liked, I'm not sure if it was the PF-9. It was 9mm and bigger than a pocket pistol.....but smaller than most sub-compacts. It was single-stack.
Does this sound like the PF-9?

If you want to ask TC-TX a question, why don't you send him a PM?

You have a much better chance of him answering your question than trying to contact him by replying to a thread that's over a year old.

Alamo, thanks for the PM suggestion, but his response wasn't paramount. That was a curiosity thing, as they offer CHL classes and my wife needs to take one. I was more interested in identifying the pistol. Plus, this is quite an informative thread for someone considering a Kel-Tec. It may be 1+ yr old, but it is totally relevent information.

Thanks Denfoote. I went back to the store today at lunch to look at it again. I'll double check the first 2 digits if we get it. She is leaning [strongly] towards it.

I waited 8 months for the first two, 5 months on the last two and I have three on order. I carry one off duty and so far it has been 100% reliable (300 rds to date). It is a bit too big for pocket carry so I got a Bianchi #7 for a Kahr which fits great. The trigger is much better that the 32's and 380's I have had. Recoil is managable and accuracy is great with Speer Gold Dot 124's. Price is afordable more so than the Kahr. Size is about the same as my PPK, but weighs less. I am a Police Detective and carry it on duty some days.
