Kid's Birthday Present

With the pending coronation of the Obomination, I want to get my kid a fitting birthday present. His birthday is the end of January, so I have a couple of months. I was thinking of getting him a NRA life membership.

My questions are:

Should I consider a different organization instead? Maybe one that cares more about NFA and other 2A rights that the NRA does not?

I seem to remember a deal a while back to get NRA life memberships at reduced cost. Any hints where to find a discount?

The NRA isn't ideal, but it is BIG. Besides, there's nothing stopping him from joining other organisations later.

while i do not know where to find the discounts, GOOD MOVE!!! you may want to consider, if you have the money, buying him/her an ar15 type rifle and sacking it away until he/she turns 18, or get married. you may want to think about coating it in cosmoline and burying it also. that way, when they come to get it, they wont be able to locate it.

I think that is a great idea and hopefully a tradition he will continue with his children. The NRA is not perfect, but it is the only boat we gun owners have and I will keep bailing water to keep it afloat as long as I am able.
