Kaine was asked about the Second Amendment and came up with "I will not do anything to stop hunters or fishermen" Sound familiar???

The whole debate came off like a "Saturday Night Live" skit. Kaine seemed pretty slippery to me, and Kilgore worked hard to 'stay on message', just wasn't much of a message beyond 'I'm a real Conservative', and "Kaine is mediocre and can't be trusted.' I guess I've just gotta hold my nose when I vote.

I didn't watch it. I don't watch debates.

Meanwhile...

From Kilgore's site:

"Jerry Kilgore is a life-long advocate of the right to keep and bear arms. While some politicians have election year conversions on gun rights, Jerry Kilgore has always believed in the fundamental right to keep and bear arms for the protection of our homes, family and freedom. He has never wavered in his belief."

When Tim Kaine was mayor of Richmond he used tax dollars to send buses to the Million Mom March. Then he had to make arrangements to pay it all back.

Too bad he's running against the state organization and didn't feature anything about the 2nd on his website until he got called on it.

Too bad when asked about overturning the one gun a month, Kilgore said that he wanted a STUDY on the issue.

I believe STUDY is politician speak for DO NOTHING.

(I'm still leaning towards not voting for governor)

Will Kilgore sign the bill making CLEO signoffs mandatory for NFA weapons?

Kaine?

I saw a little of the debate. My impression was the same as Mike's. Did Kilgore have a 2nd A responce in the debate?

I believe I will vote for Potts.
