The AK only has about 100 rds since its "rebirth", it was built from a Romy kit on an AK builder flat. The AR is about 6 years old, but basically just gets range use, so it's had a pretty easy life. There's a little wear on both, but those pics do a really good job of hiding blemishes.^Are those both new? They hardly look touched!
7 mil, how do you like that integral wood forward grip on your Romy?
Thanks. Bought her second hand. Rapidly becoming one of my favorites.IWAC said:Legionnaire; OOOo, Dot's Nize!
I'm honestly torn on that vertical grip. I've never been crazy about how they look, but it's authentic Romy, and it's something different than most of the other AKs I run into at the range, which are usually stock or tacticooled WASRs. As far as function, I don't like to hold it like you would a baseball bat. But if i grip it like a horizontal grip, just using my ring an pinky fingers on the vertical part for support it actually works well and provides good control.7 mil, how do you like that integral wood forward grip on your Romy?
Thanks. The top one has been my go-to rifle for years now and has proven very effective.35 Whelen:
Those are great looking set-ups.

Thanks for that--I don't know anyone with that particular rifle set-up and I've always been curious how it shoots compared to the modern vertical foregrips.I'm honestly torn on that vertical grip.
