I don't have a KKM barrel but I do have one from Storm Lake. Very impressed with its close tolerances in its manufacture and with its accuracy. First rate set-up. You might also want to look over at the glocktalk forum for any feedback on these two barrel manufacturers.

+1 on Storm Lake, though mine's a G22 4Gen. Studied KKM and Lone Wolf as well, but the SL was the on-paper winner.
No fitting was required; it dropped in and functioned from jump street. Would do it again if I had a G17.

Dunno about KKM, but I have a SL for my G23 and it's reliable and accurate.

I have three after market barrels for use with Glock pistols one Bar-Sto and two KKM barrels. The Bar-Sto barrel required minor fitting and the KKM are true drop in barrels. I would not hesitate to buy addition barrels from KKM the quality is first rate.

This is a very small sample size so take it for what it's worth...
I have a KKM 45 to 10mm conversion barrel for my G21 and it's been 100% reliable and very accurate.
I have a 4 port barrel for my G35 and it the gun doesn't run reliably with it at all. I get at least 1 stoppage (failure to feed) every 50 rounds regardless of ammo but with the factory barrel it has thousands of rounds without 1 failure of any kind.

I haven't rebarreled any Glocks, but have done so with Colts and FN/Brownings. Haven't used KKMs myself, but a gunsmith I respect told me he has used KKM barrels. As he has demonstrated his knowledge and skill in doing some excellent work for me, this is enough for me to believe KKMs are likely a quality product.
Within the past year, I have used two Storm Lake Barrels. Both excellent in every way IMHO. I have also used several Bar-Sto, Kart, Schumann,etc. I wasn't initially sure about Storm Lake, but have found nothing to criticise about them. I would not hesitate to use Storm Lake again.
BTW, from past experience, I would prefer that pre-fit or semi drop-in barrels do not actually drop right in. Most barrels internally are fine, it is the fit of the barrel-to-slide-to-frame that makes the difference. Irv Stone III of Bar-Sto indicates, on a video, that his semi drop-in barrels are are equivalent to his gunsmith fit barrels, if they do require a little fitting. My experience with both semi drop-in and gunsmith fit barrels over the last 30 years or so seems to confirm what Mr. Stone says...ymmv

I hereby predict that about half of us will recommend KKM (I do), and the other half will recommend Storm Lake. A few others will offer opinions on brands that aren't germane to this thread.
I suppose a rational conclusion would be that you couldn't go wrong with either brand.

I have all of them. I don't reload so stock works fine for me.
I do put an extended 4.48" SL barrel in my G29SF when doing woods stuff. Stock works just fine. I shoot Underwood 180g GDHP at 1300 FPS. No problems.

They have some stuff that you can't get from these other barrel makers mentioned - like 7.5" barrels, 10" and 16" barrels, and some caliber conversions that Lone Wolf, SL and KKM don't offer like 9x21
I can tell you though that it probably would take at least 3 months to get anything you order.

I have 3 conversion barrels from storm lake and would buy another if I needed one. I think either way, they are both great barrels and accuracy will be equal as long as they are both a decent fit to your slide. I would say buy what ever one you can get a better deal on.

I really like the KKM barrel my 92 sports. If I were you I'd choose the one you can get the better deal on.

Since someone opened up the other suggestions -- I'll add -- I have 2 of the Lone Wolf barrels. One in my G17, extended and threaded as host for my suppressor, and one ported for my G34. They both work perfect, were drop in and am quite satisfied with them. The G17 one is "match" so it's a bit tight and doesn't like some of my or commercial reloads if they are not size/crimped to remove excess flare. Other than that no issues at all.
I do have a Storm Lake 6" threaded for my Kimber 1911 and it's been absolutely perfect as well. Drop in, and no issues.
So, depending on what you want, either of the 2 choices or even the Lone Wolf would be fine.

Every gun is different. I haven't tried a KKM, but I got a Storm Lake barrel for my 9mm Glock 26, and it didn't group as well as the stock Glock barrel with FMJ ammo. It dropped right in with no fitting, though, but I think the overall fit was also a bit looser than the original barrel.
