Its been awhile since I hung my hat around this forum, but thought I'd come back in and say hello.

I picked up a Koraynovich Polish AK underfolder (AKMS) recently. I really like it and thought I'd share about it. I got it from Atlantic Firearms (good people).

To be fair- there was a loose stock issue when I first got her, but Joe (owner) took care of this right away. I shipped it back on their dime and he resolved it promptly.

The fit and finish is really nice. Rich gun-koat and the wood looks really good. The bolt is polished and looks sharp. It looks and feels great. My buddy saw it and asked if I was going to fast-rope out of a Hind gunship. ha :)

I took her to the range and at 100 yards hit a torso grouping easily, and I'm not a great shot. I had been pretty wary of the folding stock "cheek weld". I was concerned this would feel awkward or goofy. I once held a Tantal and it felt like my head was hanging in mid air. I have to say- the cheek weld with the UF stock was fine. Its not snug like a wood stock, but shooting felt good. No complaints. And obviously the UF stock makes it convenient to transport in a crisis.

They ship in a nice wooden case which is unique.

Atlantic offers discounts for forum members. You can buy with confidence from Koraynovich.
