Korth is back in business? I thought that the company went out of business about a year or so ago. At least that what I gather from the Industry Insider collumn of one of the gun mags.

$5,000.0 You have to be rich to be that stupid. Maybe I would pay $5,000.00 for a gun if it was carried by Nathan Forrest, Patton, or someone else like that. For for a brand new Kraut Uber Revolver or even a Korth Uber Semi-Auto Wondergun, I don't think so.

Kyle

PS I will never be that rich or that stupid, I don't care if I am Bill Gates rich I would never pay that much for a new Kraut Uber Revolver or the Korth Uber Semi-Auto Wondergun. Most are making great guns for less than $900.00 .

Beeman Arms sold Korth revolvers back in the '80s. When I visited the Beeman showroom I handled a Korth .357Mag. It was very nice but I wondered just how well it performed.

It would be interesting to know if Korth .45 autos are ever used at any of the top Bullseye matches.

Hey, any SEAL teams use Korth semi-autos?

The gun is made and marketed to the higher income class. Those who can afford it probably pay no mind to the price. A comparison would be a person who would never buy a Hi-Point for $150 but would purchase a Wilson or Les Baer for +$1500. Both will get the job done, but higher priced pistol would get talked about the craftsmanship put in it and resale value. But mechanically is it worth 10 times the price? I think the Korth at $5000 is compared the same way to todays $500 models on the market. If you got the money, spend it as you please.

I don't think some of us here understand how wealth works. Once you have reached a certain point of income, basic living expenses become so cheap that it is a small fraction of one's income. So then the rest can be devoted to accumulating more wealth or in buying fun toys. $5K isn't a big deal if you make enough bucks.
