Krags

How common are these in the states?
In 6,5x55 krag.

Pretty rare, over here. Almost all of the ones here are in .30-40 Krag.

Rarely seen over here. naturally the U.S. military issue rifles are much commonly seen.

Mine started out as an Army rifle.

If you check the Krag web site, you rarely see an Norwegian 6.5x55. Pity, because these are the nicest of the Krags IMO. I've been looking for a 1912/18 for a while.

They are indeed very beautiful guns. I have always wanted a Krag carbine as I have always thought it to be so perfectly proportioned and so well built.

I saw one Krag in 6.5 X 55 for sale 20 years ago.
Didn't buy it. Maybe should have.

Here they are cheap and plentifull.
Too bad they cant handle modern 6,5x55 loads
