All the while I was trying to get my Century G3 to behave itself, I was reading threads here about what 7.62 ammo people were using in their G3's, CETME's, HK91's, and other battle rifles.

I had good luck with the Portugese stuff, but my local shop doesn't have any in right now.

They've brought in some Lake City 7.62.

I buy Lake City brass for my .45 ACP, and I'm very happy with it.

The Lake City 7.62 is more expensive than the Portugese ammo.

Any reason to expect better or worse results?

Thanks for any replies.

Lake City was very accurate through my CETME..

I believe it is top-notch stuff.

I have had more stopages with the LC than with Aussi, Port, or Argentime Milsurp. The typical prob is that the round will not chamber and will drive the bullet rearward into the brass about a quarter inch or so. Last week, out of three mags, there were three stopages. This out of a PTR 91.
