LC Smith wood..

Going through some of my father-in-laws stuff, we found two sets of SXS barrels marked LCSmith, Field grade, and on the other barrel the markings read Hunter Arms.

The 12 gauge barrel set has serial number F (or, it could be 'E') w99xxx..The 20 gauge barrel set has a serial number of FW108xxx.

I don't know if these barrel sets have much value or not, but I am mostly intestered if finding a stock and fore end for them.

Anyone have any idea where I can find field grade wood for these smoothbores?

Check Numrich (www.e-gunparts.com). I think I saw replacement wood there -- or it may have been Brownells. I don't remember but I know I've seen some for sale not too long ago.
