I forgot about that kit, good catch. If you do buy that kit don't forget to add the upgrade at the bottom of the page for the Pro Auto-Disk for only $14.95. It's a much better powder measure for not a lot more cost. (much better)
I forgot about the "Kempf kits" too....much agreed on the Pro powder disc...excellent value even at full on regular price.

The Lee turret presses are some of the best out there from both a value and a quality perspective. There are other manufacturers that make better progressives and better single stage presses but not a better turret. There are competitors that come close to, or nearly equal to the Lee CC, but they all cost substantially more and are more complex to operate.

Huge fan of the LCT here. Got the kempf kit with "PRO" upgrades a few years back. absolutely love it.

Some harbor freight/frankford digital calipers, a good scale, and a Lyman turbo tumbler and you're off and running.

Just remember, buy the Classic Turret press, not the Deluxe Turret press. The Classic press is much better and handles the spent primers better too. The linkage is compound and the ram is twice the size.

Same holds true for the Pro Auto-Disk over the standard Auto-Disk. The hopper on the pro is removed with brass nuts whereas the standard hopper uses screws directly into the plastic hopper. The Pro also has a wiper for the powder the standard doesn't which aids in no powder leaks.

Completely agree about the auto disks ^^^.

I have the regular and the pro. The pro disk is worth every penny. It has a powder shut off so you can tune loads without emptying the hopper in addition to the other features that Archangel described.

I let Flashhole, ArchAngel and Lost Sheep sway me into buying a Classic Turret a few years back. Never regretted it. It's a great press.
