RCBS Partner Single Stage Press or Lee Deluxe Turret Kit

I've got a RCBS JR (3?) which i think is the same as the partner press. It works fine for what I use it for. I don't know anything about the Lee. I picked mine up used from the local reloading supplier for about $25. I guess somebody had given it to him in trade for ammo or something. I've used it to load everything from .50 S&W down to .223. Now it gets primary duty FL resizing .223 brass and some duty priming empties.

Have a good one,
Dave

Get both... :) You'll need them as you go along. There are some things left to a single stage such as resizing and things left to a turret such as priming (with the shaft removed) belling and powder drop. And bullet seating and crimping... :scrutiny:

no experience with the rcbs hear they make nothing but quality goods and back it up. I have a Lee challenger press and a Lee 4 hole turret.

dont expect to be priming with the 4 hole unless you want to take forever. I size/deprime on the single stage then tumble brass then prime and store my cases primed. when I want to load hit the 4 hole and it goes by pretty nice. 200 a week for 45acp should be no problem with 4 hole. much easier with 4 hole than single stage.

you can prime with the 4 hole but it could take forever. easier to use the
handheld autoprime

if you go with lee get the 4hole kit and in addition to that get the autodisk upgrade kit which upgrades it to the autodisk pro.
