I came across a "020" Lee Loader powder dipper. I can't seem to find any data as to how much powder it is designed to hold.
A trip to LEE PRECISION only revealed the later model cc type dippers.
I did test it with BE and level full, found it to hold 3.0 grains.
Has anyone got a sheet that shows these old dippers and their amounts?
Thanks, Catpop

the old style dippers have a slide chart with them

that tells you how much of many different powders each dipper holds...

If you tell me the powder you want I'll look on the chart and tell you what Lee says it holds....

Powder lots vary slightly. Always use a scale to verify what they actually drop with your lot.

Walkalong, rest assured, I would never trust a powder dipper, at least without verifying it first; as i did in this case with 3.0 grains of BE. Thanks, Catpop

ok,
PB=2.7
Bullseye=3.0
Red Dot=2.3
Unique=3.0
And my set appears to be pre 231.

All numbers as listed for the Lee 020 dipper, as Walkalong points out, weigh them to verify. In this length of time, the powders could be a different formulation with a different SD which would completely screw the pooch on the numbers.

I use them to get close then trickle to finish.

shame he doesn't have the slide chart with the kit.

I don't have a scanner or it could be scanned, the outer sleeve and the inner data card then assemble and voila, one dipper chart for early lee dippers. 020 is the smallest up to 258 which for ref holds 40.0 of Bullseye

Strangely enough he has the plastic hammer that came with the kit, but not the slide chart? He will find IT the NEXT time he cleans out the attic! haha
