Mods - please forgive the tangential nature of the question.
A buddy now in Iraq on contract asked me whether the IRS's "Qualified Combat Zone" tax exemption for civilians in support of US Forces was still in effect. And generally, how best to position himself to minimize his income tax obligations.
This is far from my area of expertise. Anyone have advice I can pass along or resources I can point him to?
Thanks.
