Hi,
Legal for regular California (San Diego County) citizen to sell a little ammo? I have a box of shotgun shells and would like to sel it for a few bucks. Is it legal? Can I just post on a forum like this and sell them to anyone I deem to be of proper age?

I no longer have a gun so I no longer need the sheels, They are 20 guage.

Thanx.
:)

As far as I know, it's no problem at all.

I've sold commercial ammo that I've had around the house to friends, and thought nothing of it.

There's no restrictions against buying ammo in person from retail stores or mail-order places, so long as one is of legal age (18 for rifle/shotgun ammo, 21 for handgun ammo) to purchase it and is not legally prohibited from owning ammunition.

I'm not a lawyer though, so don't quote me.
