I think we've taken this as far as we reasonably can -- in an Internet forum assessable to everyone in the world with Internet access. We can at least be reasonably comfortable that someone who lives with a prohibited person can nonetheless own a gun as long as he/she takes the precautions described to prevent the prohibited person having access to the gun.
But now we're beginning to get into serious, personal matters that shouldn't be discussed with a bunch of strangers in public.
