Serendipity strikes! The day after I get my CHL in the mail, I am enrolling in my company's new Benefits package and what should I see?

Legal insurance - $15 a month.

Do those of you who carry have this?

Seems to me that in today's legal environment it's a must have...

Now both me and my bank account are safe in the event of a self-defense situation...

Most home owners policies include some protection against law suits both at home (someone trips on your walk) and away (you hit someone with your shopping cart). If you have a policy, check the coverage you now have before paying for coverage you may not need.

Note that some anti-gun insurance companies (Prudential is one) may not cover damages to or claims involving guns. They may not even cover claims for fire damage and the like, saying that your ownership of guns shows you are irresponsible and a hazard. Check with your agent and make sure what your policy does (and does not) cover.

My coverage give me protection from civil suits and from work-related criminal charges. Also traffic violations unless chemically induced. Seems like a decent enough deal, especially since phone calls and letters are all free.
