I guess I'd repeal that piece of crap from 1968. There are a number that are right behind it, though.
 
Limiting myself to gun laws, easy. GCA'68. That would strike down most of the other gun laws on the books by default, because the feds would no longer have any means of enforcing them. :D

All laws, that makes it a bit tougher. Maybe the Patriot Act, but that only gave legal sanction to acts the government has been conducting for years. Maybe the National Banking Act? Some useful section of the IRS Code?

Do laws include agency charters? Then it's easy - repeal the FBI charter. Wait, maybe the IRS charter would be better. Hell, just lock each agency director in a darkened room with a brick each - whomever makes it out gets to keep his little fiefdom... :D

pd.. When I went to college in the PRNJ, I asked why it was the heaviest drinking state in the union..

I went to Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken NJ.. They say it's the most liquor dense city in the world... and I believe them. After living there for a few years, I knew exactly why it was the heaviest drinking state in the union :what:

If you are going to repeal the FBI, might as well add the BATF ("The BAT Freaks") as my friend affectionately calls them, and the CIA..

Between elementary school, junior high, high school and college, I think I have the alcohol, tobaccer, firearms and explosives covered pretty well :D

On reading the title to this thread, my first reaction was "Since when has wishing been regulated?" I had visions of the thought police run amok. Maybe I should avoid Legal and Political for a while.

hehe, me too. No college for me, but I did some research and experimentation on all the subjects during my mis-spent youth, although I left the firearms for my seemingly responsable adulthood.

Had they just left it "The Right to Keep and Bear Arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".. That would have solved most of the problems we are having :eek:

Without it, the whole edifice of federal gun control topples.

No more FFL's, no more 4473's, no more "can't buy guns through the mail", no more "can't import machineguns", no more "sporting purposes", no more Brady checks (nobody to perform them), no more "18 for long guns, 21 for handguns", no more nothing...
