I'm sure some people have more than they can count, but here is my modest start of a collection. I'm only 21.

Very nice, I'll get some pics of my little collectio when I get home. yours makes me think I've been spending my money wrong. I'm 22 and have less than half the number of guns you do.

Well, the lever action and the Colt 1911 were given to me. I paid $100 for the Mossberg shotgun and the Mosin was only $79. It's the handguns that are so expensive.

Something I could have learned from the Oregon GunMakers' Fair

Tamara: Place your guns on the lawn of Bleak House (Confederate Memorial Hall), go to the Sharpshooters' Tower and if you use a fish eye (wide angle), I'm sure you can get all your guns. Be fast lest passing cars run them over though.

Gee, I'm thinking if we put them on our rooftop so the spy satellite can photograph it - do you think we can get a copy of that photo from the government so we can post it here?;)

Bwhahaha! well, we all know Tams can't do this ... tho 4v50 Gary may have cracked the problem! :D

For me .. all but impossible too!! I think only way might be ... categorization ....... by type (revo/auto) ... caliber, barrel length ...... some means to be sure that one pic only has about 8 to 10 guns in it. well, that'd help with handguns anyways.

Then longarms ....... now these are awkward cuz of shape and dimension .... tho I guess a similar rationale could be used.

Hmmm .. I wonder ...... maybe there's a plan here for new pics ..... just have to see what happens when there's time to spare.! Give me a few months!:p

You guys are making me feel bad.
Hey dude .. if I'd had your collection at 21, I'd have been well pleased .... so don't feel bad. That is one excellent start to a lifelong ''addiction'':p

I have been lucky to ''catch up'' a bit in later years .. and whilst I and others have numerically more than you ... we also have to varying degrees .... less time left on this planet!

You are doin fine .... believe me ..... no need to rush either. If you get to my advanced age of decrepitude - chances are you'll have numbers in three figures.:D

I suck with the camera, i couldn't get a good shot with all of them, without is being very blurry

Kaxter - you too have time on your side ... so pace yourself .... you have a great start ... one to be proud of.

Devil....... I meant to say .. that 91/30 has superb wood .. absolute beaut' ..... refinished I imagine??

I don't want to show all of my guns, it could be bad for me if such a picture were to get into the wrong hands- especially my wife's.:uhoh: But I can't see any harm in a picture of some bolt guns.:D

Zach S,

I'm not sure that I've seen a better start before. FOr the limited number you have that is a dang good collection.

Smoke
Thank you, but didn't you notice the AMT on the far right? Kind of an odd-ball sitting next to two kimbers and a Colt... It was my first, I still have it for sentimental reasons. I'm thinking about having it accu-railed and rebuilt for pratical reasons. I'm waiting until mid-September for an AR15...

I know its a limited number, but considering that I'm only 22 and none of these were heirlooms or gifts (not to mention a lot of mags, holsters, customizations, ect), I think I'm off to a pretty good start. Most were purchased in the last year and 10 months with money out of my "Hopefully turn my Fairmont into a nice car" fund.

Can't post pics due to no digicam, but here is my list....

Handguns-
SW Model 1 third variation in .22 blackpowder short (gift from my dad)
Ruger 22/45 5.5" blued
Kel-Tec P3AT
SW 642 (wife's gun)
Ruger GP100 4" blued (gift from my mother.....yeah she's cool)
CZ75B 9mm
Glock 20 3rd Gen
Glock 29
RIA 1911

Long Guns-

Ruger 10/22
Savage semi-auto .22 x2 (both were gifts from my grandfathers)
Marlin 1894 .44mag
Mosin Nagant M44
Remington 870 18.5" with factory mag extension
HR Topper .410 single shot (gift from grandfather)

I figure this isn't bad for a 27 y/o who didn't get "into" guns until 21. The sad thing is that I know I have sold/traded off twice this many.

Soon to add.....
Ruger Mk II in .308
Ruger Bearcat .22lr
Ruger 10/22 40th Anniversary Edition (for my son who will be born in late July/ early August
Marlin pre-safety 336

I will probably add an EBR of some sort later on, just can't decide between .30 caliber/.223/FN/AR/AK/M1A...etc. The SKS I had was unimpressive.
