I recently bought a Remington Model 11 auto-loading shotgun. I've always wanted one and now I have it. Life is good.
Of course, there just has to be a problem. Loading the tubular magazine is proving to be a problem. I can slide the first round up the tube with no problem, but for one reason or another, I can't load a second round. It just won't go. It pushes the first round a little but further into the tube, but that second round just won't go in. I certainly don't want a semi-auto shotgun that fires two rounds, as long as the first goes in the chamber right away.
By the way, this has proven to be a problem with any type of shell. I have loaded birdshot, 00 buck 9 pellet, and 00 buck 12 pellet. All are 2 3/4", so I seriously doubt that it's the ammunition.
Does this problem sound familiar to anyone? I've taken it apart and I can't for the life of me find anything wrong with it.
Any help is welcome.
