Local LEO reaction to NC Reciprocity

The training thing is a red herring. As I mentioned some time ago to El Tejon when he was going to apply for his Fla. oos resident permit, Fla. recognized Pa. permits & vice versa. Fla. has training requirements, Pa only requires a warm, non felonious body. Saved me $127. I`m sure there are other examples.

"...being favorably disposed to the recently passed reciprocity law..." Yep, that's all very well and good. However, he is still a civil servant and as such should have no say whatsoever, good or bad, about any legislation. Up here, the Cdn. Assoc. of Police(cop union) are shooting their mouths off all the time about our registry legislation. Originally all in favour of it, although now they say it does no good and costs too much. So did and does the media.
If you or I ever said anything about how the company we work for was run we'd be fired. So should the tax payer's employees.
