Long range tuning

I’ll be heading to the range again this week in better temperature for a re shoot of 31.50 which is right about the middle of this node. For the moment that should be competitive.

Just a follow up on the N140, after trying to get a steady load to go with , I just haven’t seen the really small groups that are needed to compete at the level I’m looking for so rather than burning any more barrel life I’ll review the original H4895 ladder and re shoot it also the overlapping 31.0 gr

How do you feel about it?
Considering the company I keep, top ten in light gun (5th in light gun score & 9th in two gun score) and thirteenth in two gun overall.. well I’m pleased but see room for improvement. I haven’t competed at 1000 since last July if I recall correctly, my gun handling can always use work.
Tomorrow the leader board can flip 180 also.

I’ll continue to tinker with the seating depth and also test one size smaller neck bushing, I’m at .004 under a loaded round OD now with a .261~ I have a .260 bushing sitting here so why not ?
I also have another new barrel getting chambered that I will break in that may shoot even smaller. This is what a 3.7 inch 1000 yard group looks like.
