Hey guys. I have some CPB 200 gr bullets sitting on my shelf waiting to be loaded for my 6" 686. I talked to CPB and they gave me some data over the phone. This is what they gave me.
8.5 gr-9.4 gr AA#9
11.0 gr max H110
Lil' gun (wont use it)
But, I am looking for more insight into the 200 grainers. I worked up to 11.0 gr H110 and was only yielding an avg 980-1000fps. Seems I should be yielding more than that. I have T/C Encore data for 204 grain bullets and the charges are much higher. Starting charge off at 15.8 gr of H110. I compared the encore data to my standard 357 mag data and the charges do not differentiate from the 170 gr on down in weight. Anyone have data or experience loading these? Anyone use encore data?
I also have 2400 and N110 powder on hand. Thanks in advance guys.
