I currently have a completed and registered AR SBR lower registered to be used with 9mm and .22lr calibers.

I am looking for a complete .22lr upper SBR. Who makes the best? A friend of mine has a non-SBR Tactical Solutions upper which has been flawless. TacSol's website is down so I am unable to check for availablity.

Which is the best .22lr upper? Reliablity is top priority.

The Chiappa is probably the best running conversion kit I have seen, it is also cheap. It wouldn't take much to shorten the barrel.

I also have a Tactical Solution upper. It has been completely reliable and good accuracy.

I called TacSol and they are not producing a SBR .22lr upper at this time. Wish they were as I have several TacSol products and have been very pleased with their work.....

I also called Spikes, and yep, their .22lr uppers are not in production....

A friend of mine has a Chiappa .22lr 1911 and have been less than impressed with that weapon....

I'm also much less that impressed with my Chiappa 1911-22, especially the fact that I had to pay to send it back under warranty and they didn't fix it :( With that lack of customer service I'll never buy anything from them again. I had to pay to return my EAA Witness after the slide cracked, but at least they quickly fixed it.
