Looking for a GOOD iwb holster for K frame Smith. Prefer somthing fairly low riding with a slight forward cant

The Hoffner's Miurage IWB works great for my N-frame.

Here are a couple of pics of it on me:

Note that, since those pictures were taken, I've moved the rear belt-loop back to the rear of the holster which makes the whole package even slimmer, and allows a bit of cant adjustment.

P.S. -- Should also say, you said "low riding" which the Hoffner's isn't, particularly. But, looking at it from another angle, if it were any lower the cylinder would be inside your belt. I don't think I'd like that.

Another choice would be "CABO" holsters.

That stands for "Carry A Big One." :)

They have a pic on their web site of a bunch of different revolver IWBs, together. Looks to me like they sit about as high as the Hoffners, but they are leather instead of kydex which might appeal to you.

What barrel length are you looking to carry?

I carry a 3" barrel Model 65 in an Alessi Talon IWB holster. The Talon is a clip-on IWB, but it's a nice piece of leather, not some crappy generic holster. It works really well in the appendix carry position I've found.

The really old 'IWB' forms were so thin, elegant, and non-bulky...

I've been very happy with this one, though I only wear it occasionally, when dressed up.

Revolver is a Model of 1902, S&W, in .38 Special

These sat the Revolver 'low'...on this example, the Cylinder-Release is about level with one's Belt top line.

I also sometimes carry a 3" barrel Model 65, but in a DCH by Elmer McEvoy at http://www.leatherarsenal.com/

Even though he doesn't list revolvers on his site, he'll make a fantastic summer special-esque IWB for your K; just ask him.

Endorsed in print by the likes of Mas Ayoob and Kelly McCann, and for good reason, IMHO.
