Well the anti-gun croud is losing another one next week.
My wife has decided to take the handgun safety class. I have worked with her, but she has never wanted to actually shoot a pistol, and I have never pushed her in to something she did not want to do. (Best way to turn some one off to our sport if you ask me.)

She has never been a "rabid" anti-gun person, but is still very much uncomfortable around them, she never understood why people need guns.
Well, she has finally decided that it is better know how to use them and not need them vs. need one and not know how to use it.

So we have signed up for the local N.R.A. handgun safety course. She asked me to go with her, and I could always use the seat time in a safety refresher too.

The instructor allows the students to fire pistols from .22, .380, .38, 9mm, .40s&w and .357, .44, .45 if they are comfortable with the smaller calibers.

She is looking forward to it, and she even brought me to the gun store to look at pistols...(I allways knew I married the right girl!)

I told her that she needs to go thrugh the class first, and if she is comfortable we can purchase a pistol for her after.

She does have good taste though, so far what she likes grip wise are the SIG SP2009, SIG SP2340, Glock 19 and Glock 23
