Lyman Accu trimmer

Just bought a Lyman accutrimmer from a friend . $45 . At our local outdoor store they go for 64.95 ,Cabelas 84.95 . So I got a pretty good deal , it,s still in the bow. Trims cases from ,17 to .458 Win. Mag. So I can use this to trim .223,s . Just wanted to make sure .

If this is what you have then yes. It should have come with 9 pilots and one of those should be .22. At least my similar RCBS pilots are stamped that way.

Yep - should work fine. Assuming it is what Ron linked.

Very similar to my Hornady. Use the right pilot, adjust to length and off you go. Remember to chamfer and deburr after - my Hornady leaves the mouths a little "raggedy".

If you have many cases to trim, consider buying the power adapter.

Since I now have a WFT for .223, I leave my Lyman trimmer set up for .308. I stick a cordless screwdriver on the power adapter and go to town.
