Just got one in 50 caliber. Frankly it looks brand new and unfired. First time I ever handled one, and I have had dozens of black powder pistols. Seems a little front heavy, but that may be good for getting a sight picture. Not as clunky as a Traditions Trapper though.
The trigger is amazing, light and crisp. So much better than I expected. Beats the 5 lb pull on my old CVA pistols. In fact almost like a single set trigger.
It is truly a shame that Lyman does not make a flint model.
