The new M&P9C ran like a champ!

Improvised shooting range in the Idaho outback. Unable
to set up targets, but had a nice dirt backstop.

3 loads used.

Win Ranger 127 +P+
Blazer 115 Alum.
Hornady 115 JHP Handload.

The gun shot very well. Felt much like a G26 with a
grip adapter.

Unlike a G26. The M&P didn't feel like it would fly out of my hands.

Recoil seemed light, even with the Ranger load.

No problem with rapid or slow fire with the stock trigger.
Didn't find reset to be a problem, either.

I'm even more impressed with the M&P series now.

Nice range report CZF. I've been considering an MP9C to go along with my MP .45. The .45 is a little bulky for me to carry, perhaps I'm a little bulky for it but that's an entirely different story.

I recently fired a rental MP9C alongside my BIL's Glock 19. Now I must tell you his G19 has legendary accuracy in my hands. It wears some type of ghost ring night sights (maybe ameriglow?) and I have put 5rds into one ragged hole at 7yds on more than one occasion. Other than the accuracy, which IMO is due to the sights, the MP ran right along with the Glock. In fact, ergonomics were better and muzzle flip less with the MP over the Glock.

MP9c may just be 2nd in line for me, after an old model .45 Ruger Vaquero that I've been searching for. Gotta scratch that itch first.
