M1 carbine Paratrooper from CMP

Saw this over at the CMP forum

Some guy claiming to have gotten a Inland paratrooper stock from his Inland order

Has a FAT stamp on the stock.

Sounds fishy to me

i doubt somethign like that would slip through.

IF they CMP did get any paratroopers they would have gone to auction

That's means it was BS. All "interesting" carbines go to CMP auction.

This was posted in the "Ask Orest" forum by Orest the head guy at the CMP.

In response to someone asking him about the post.

He probably just had that one from a gunshow somewhere, and was like "HEY HEY!!!!"

Obviously BS, I thought I read somewhere that there were NO paratroop stocks sold.
