M1/Unit Shipment

Hi all,
What unit, from what base, was to receive the largest shipment of the new M1 Garand Rifles after production started? Ok, I know this one is easy so you should all be able to handle this one. Lets see what the new guys can do, as you older guys race for your Garand data.
Have so fun with this one.
Remember, I need the unit and base.

Hi all,
The answer to this one is as follows:
An order dated Dec. 21, 1936 stated that the 29th Infantry, Ft. Benning, Ga. was to receive 1220 of the new M1 Garand Rifles.
