Just curious about accuracy of the M4 16inch govt profile barrel. I know it's an accurate gun, but would love to see some of you guys post some pics of the last target you shot. Thanks!

This is from the first time I took my Noveske out. The rifle is sighted in with American Eagle 55grn FMJ and I tried out some good ammo at 200 yards in the wind. The rifle is definitely more accurate than I was shooting this day. Its about 3.9" group

Bryan, those are some impressive groups with FMJ! I wish I could get FMJ to shoot like that.

thanks tim.

its kinda funny about the fmj. i handload everything i shoot, so when i was going for accuracy, naturally i tried everything else first. hornady v-max, a-max, 68g bthp,,,,,then i tried nosler custom competition hpbt, then nosler ballistic tips, and various others from sierra, berger, and just about everything else i could get my hands on.

then one day when i ran out of all the good stuff, i decided to try the standard plinker loads that i make just for messing around with. basically my milk jug loads, and they were the most accurate loads.

lucky i suppose.

My 16" middy with standard hand guards as a 1.5MOA rifle with 75gr PPU OTM. Plenty good enough for the matches I usually shoot. BSW
