For some reason I bought one of the ArchAngel stocks for my Mosin. Have mixed feeling for it but still leaning toward keeping it. However this one has detachable magazines and there is where the problem lays. Today I purchased a 10rd mag for it along with a couple hundred rounds from an individual. It does not feed on a constant reliable rate and have only tinkered slightly with it to keep from doing something completely wrong. All I have attempted is stretching the spring to try and keep shells feeding with nose high and rim in a position where bolt will push it forward. Anything else that someone could suggest, other than tossing it in the trash which is not out of the possibility.

My only suggestion is to make sure you are loading each round with the rim ahead of the round below it. It's fairly easy to stick one in behind the previous round, and the resulting rim lock can be a bear...(OK, bad pun :D )

Personally, I feel a 10 round magazine on a MN is a waste of time.
The cases when stacked have such a tapered profile it is hard to get them to feed reliably in the magazine, and if they dont rest up against your cartridge stop they will never feed right.
Plus, you just doubled the amount of chances of the rims interlocking when the gun recoils.

I agree with both of your comments, only reason I got it was 10rd mag it was in a package deal. Well aware of loading rim lips ahead of the lower one. Thanks for input

These magazines were recalled as the body was collapsing before cooling sufficiently during manufacture and causing this problem.

The manufacturer put out a video on how to fix this yourself. Essentially you heat the body in an oven to soften the plastic, then shove the follower into the center and allow the body to cool with the follower supporting the walls. They will also replace the magazine if you send it to them. That's what I would do since you have stretched the spring.
