Man Arrested In Japan for Owning Several 3D Printed Guns

Has anyone see this? A Japanese man was arrested yesterday in Japan for owning several guns that he printed at home:

Will the government ultimately have any power in any of this?

What? Our (the US?) government? Why would they? This is a Japanese legal matter. Ownership of firearms is very tightly restricted there.
