marlin 39 tds

I have a marlin 39 tds that i picked up, and i'm trying to figure out the date of manufacture. The serial number is on the receiver tang, and reads TDS01220. Any help would be great, if someone knows or knows where to lookup the info. Thanks

I'm guessing 1958-59 or 60 based on this http://oldguns.net/sn_php/marlinlookup.php

The SN does not fit exactly. Somehow those dates do not seem right to me. I'm thinking the TDS was made during the 1970's or 80's. Most Marlins can be dated with this site, but I know there are some rifles that do not work with the date codes. This may be one of them.

I tried that sight when i did a quick google search and yes it doesn't work with TDS from what i know they were made between 88 - 95. but that was all i could find.
