Picked up a marlin xl7 in 270 yesterday will let everyone know how it shoots.

I bought one in 30-06 a few weeks ago, only put about five shots through it but no complaints yet.

I bought one in .270 several weeks ago. I used it this morning (6:45AM) to head shoot a very large wild hog at 86 yards. Mine shoots great (around one-inch groups) at 100 yds with Remington 130 gr. Core-Lokt soft points. These rifles are well worth what they sell for.

yep, I do not have one, but read quite a bit about them, unique and catchy bolt design, and the way it is removed, bbls made by green mountain or T/C, timney triggers, pillared/bedded stocks. All sound very nice.
