We have a couple of good gun shows at the Braintree Rifle and Pistol Club each year. If your handle (Boston) brings you down to the South Shore let me know. Braintree is a great club!

You do know that first-time posters have to buy the ammo and beer (in that order of course!)

Thanks for the info on the Mass gun show. About 35 years ago we used to shoot in the sand pit behind Braintree rifle & pistol club. I lived in boston at the time. Let us know when you have your next gun show. At this time I belong to Sippican rod & gun in Rochester Ma.

k1mri, welcome to THR! I've learned a ton since coming here, and I'm sure you will too.

I actually got your PM on the 1911 forums, but I'm not very active there, so I forgot to reply, basically. I'm in Sudbury, and my range is in Woburn. You are welcome to come shooting anytime. (At the range, not at my house. )

Unfortunately, with two small kids, my weekends are usually pretty full up and I don't have the time for gun shows, even if recent gun show remarks and reviews didn't scare me off in the first place. Seems like it's hard to come across a deal at those places, but I bet it's nice to see all the cool goods.

Where do you shoot in Woburn?

I shoot in Malden, Mystic Valley Gun Club.

I plan on going to the one at the Big E. How is this one at Willmington? How does it compare to the Big E one?

I have never been to one there.
