Maverick 88 Security

Had this dude awhile, and I can say best $220 I've ever spent on a gun. This 12ga gets the job done. Love how it cycles everything without issue. Accurate, fun to shoot and super reliable. I added the 4 shell saddle and it looks awesome.

I recently picked one up with both the security and field barrels for $255 delivered. Shoots great, and I too slapped some shells on the side, but I used velcro a shell card.

Maverick 88's are a solid gun. I sold a ton of them back in the day and they all functioned and held up well. They might not be a slick as a Beretta 1301, but they will get the job done and then some.

For the price the maverick 88 is one of best shotguns on the market. Simple and reliable and you don't have to worry about a scratch or two. Plus there pretty much interchangeable with all 500 parts and pieces.

I have a couple, a 5-round tube purchased in the 90's and a 7-round last year. They will do whatever any other quality pump will do other than impress with a name. I would suggest a Maverick 88 to anyone serious about home defense who wants a pump.

I owned one for a while, and it was a solid gun. I swapped it because I prefer a Remington 870 for they way they fit me.

I have owned a 7 round Mav 88 for almost 20 years with zero issues. When each of my son's moved out, I bought them a 5 round Mav 88. As with mine, they have encountered zero issues with theirs.
