I went to the Miami gun show this weekend at what normally is about the busiest time..Saturday around 11AM. In the best of times there was always a line to get in and it's usually a pretty crowded show. This was the first gun show I have been to since right after the 2010 election. I was amazed at how sparse the crowd was....no lines to get in, half empty aisles. I didn't see anyone buying much of anything...a lot of tire kickers (like me.) Tables full of cases of ammo. $400/case for factory .45 FMJ. Not great but better than a year ago. AR-style rifles everywhere $795-$895. The only guy not knocking down his prices was the beef jerky dude. It was the usual assortment of stuff that hasn't change much in years. One cool item I saw was a Mateba carbine for $1399. I didn't even know such a thing existed.
